ISSA is the community of choice for international cybersecurity professionals dedicated to advancing individual growth, managing technology risk and protecting critical information and infrastructure. The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)® is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications, and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill, and professional growth of its members.
The Annual Membership Meeting is held once a year to provide the membership with information on the past year, current happenings, and the future direction of your professional association. The local Austin (Capitol of Texas) chapter meets quarterly with social events in between focused on professional development, quality education (CPE), and networking.

Today, ISSA boasts an international membership base, with chapters in more than 100 countries and over 10,000 members. Its members represent a diverse range of industries, including communications, education, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, consulting, and government agencies.
