Summary: InfraGard has many Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and subgroups that are dedicated to safeguarding a specific type of infrastructure. One of these SIGs is “Agriculture InfraGard”. Mr. Hamilton will be providing an overview of the agricultural threats we face today and a summary of the FBI-sponsored Third International Symposium on Agroterrorism, which he attended in Kansas City last week. He will also describe how the Central Texas Agriculture SIG would work, focusing on helping those interested in agricultural security, networking, and protection.

Presenter Biography:

Adam Hamilton is the President and CEO of Signature Science, LLC, in Austin, Texas.

Mr. Hamilton’s background includes experience in engineering, science (chemistry and microbiology), training, statistics, and quality assurance. His instructional experience includes;
• Evidence Recovery and Environmental Sampling for Tactical Operators
• Radiological Terrorism and Law Enforcement
• Terrorist Use of Toxic Industrial Chemicals
• Distribution of Waterborne Threats in Public Water Supplies
• Numerous courses related to prevention, recognition, response, and mitigation of chemical, biological, and radiological events.

In addition, Mr. Hamilton was the first lead instructor and content developer on the Biological Threats training that is provided by the FBI to all of its WMD coordinators and other Special Agents.
